Perry blames lack of preparation for Toronto disaster

England captain Daniel Perry has said the 2-2 draw against Canada is down to a lack of match practice.

The BritLeague and E-League seasons are a month away and London Town defender Perry, 30, has admitted that England were "not ready enough" in Toronto.

"Obviously we can't keep making excuses but I think we've under-prepared for this game," he said.

"That and bad defending is the only explanation for that result."

"But I guarantee we will get better for the games against Iceland next month in quali (for EuroCup 12)."
